Season Roulette
Season Roulette is an Associate with Cochrane Sinclair LLP. She was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2008.
Season specializes in Indigenous law providing legal advice, guidance and support to Indigenous governments, organizations, agencies, and boards. With a deep understanding of the contemporary legal issues and unique challenges faced by Indigenous governments and communities, she provides steadfast support to her clients in navigating through a wide variety of legal matters.
Season’s practice extends to working collaboratively with First Nations seeking to exercise their inherent jurisdiction over child welfare. With considerable experience in both Indigenous laws and provincial child welfare systems, she offers support and guidance to First Nations from law development through to coordination and implementation.
Season was honoured to have served as part of the Honourable Murray Sinclair’s legal team in his facilitation of the historic $40B Agreement-in-Principle on long-term reform of Canada’s First Nations Child and Family Services Program and Jordan’s Principle.
Season also provides legal services in labour and employment law, providing legal advice and guidance to employers. She regularly advises on employment standards, workplace policies, contracts, terminations, and wrongful dismissals. Throughout her years of practice, Season has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba.
