Robyn Fraser
Robyn Fraser is an Associate at the firm practicing primarily in the area of Indigenous Law. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba and joined the firm as an articling student in 2018.
Robyn provides legal advice, guidance, and support to Indigenous governments, organizations, and agencies on various legal matters, including self-government, jurisdictional issues, and child welfare. Since the implementation of An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit, and Métis children, youth, and families (commonly referred to as Bill C-92) in 2020, Robyn's practice has heavily focused on assisting Indigenous governing bodies throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta in developing their own child welfare laws and coordinating the exercise of their jurisdiction over child and family services with the federal government and provincial governments.
Outside of work, Robyn volunteers with the True North Youth Foundation, presenting to youth about her legal career. She also enjoys travelling and is passionate about sports, including hockey, golf, and skiing.
