Jada Douglas
Jada Douglas currently works as a Child Protection Legal Assistant, supporting Kate Wagar with community orders for Nikan and Southeast, which includes handling petitions, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents. In addition to her role as a legal assistant, she serves as the firm’s receptionist, ensuring that filings are sent out and received, answering calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and providing a welcoming presence for visitors.
Her responsibilities also include managing incoming mail and packages, which she either scans, files, or directs elsewhere. Jada loves her position because it allows her to assist others while being part of a highly respected Indigenous law firm.
In addition to their work in the legal field, Jada is a professional barber, always cutting hair in their spare time.
Outside of work, Jada enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, often playing board games or going for walks to relax and unwind.
