Cochrane Sinclair LLP is pleased to welcome Rikki Logan to our Vancouver office as our newest Lawyer.

Rikki provides strategic legal advice to clients on matters at the intersection of Indigenous, Aboriginal, and corporate law. She works closely with clients to understand their unique needs, priorities, and aspirations, helping develop solutions that protect their rights, support economic prosperity objectives, and advance their visions of self-determination and self-governance.

Her practice includes advising on the establishment, structuring, and reorganization of Nation-owned economic development entities, as well as multi-Nation and third-party partnerships. Rikki also advises on First Nation taxation matters and develops customized governance and commercial arrangements tailored to each client’s specific circumstances, including partnership agreements and shareholder agreements.

Rikki maintains a broad solicitor’s practice that includes advising not-for-profit organizations on governance-related matters, as well as drafting impact benefit agreements, exploration agreements, and government-to-government agreements. She also has experience advising on share and asset purchase transactions and has assisted multi-Nation-owned real estate corporations with complex reorganizations.

In addition, Rikki has worked on the development of innovative partnership structures with industry proponents in connection with major projects, including renewable energy initiatives.

Rikki is a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation, with ancestral ties to St. Albert and St. Norbert in the Red River Settlement.

We are excited to welcome Rikki to the firm and look forward to the knowledge, perspective, and experience she brings to our team and clients.
