We are proud to share that Kent Brown, a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment in Manitoba, has been recognized with a TJ’s Champion Award. Nominated by Roland Vandal, this recognition reflects Kent’s years of commitment to supporting young people through the sport of boxing and mentorship.
The TJ’s Champion Awards honour individuals who go above and beyond to help youth avoid drug involvement and make safe, informed choices. Kent’s work has created meaningful opportunities for youth who might otherwise be left behind, providing not just training, but mentorship, discipline, and the sense of belonging that every young person deserves.
Through his leadership and consistent presence, Kent has become a role model and a safe haven for many in our community. His work helps shape not only better athletes, but stronger, more resilient citizens.
The award will be presented during the TJ’s Champion Awards Gala on May 15, 2025, in Winnipeg. We are thrilled to see Kent’s impact being recognized on this important stage, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations for this well-earned honour.
At Cochrane Sinclair, we believe in amplifying the voices and stories of those working to build stronger, healthier communities. Kent’s work is a powerful example of that mission in action.
Congratulations, Kent!
